GCSE Prize Presentation 2022
We recently welcomed back Ex-Year 11 students and their families to share in an evening of celebration at our Prize Presentation event. It was fantastic to be able to celebrate their acheivements with their peers in person, for the first time since the pandemic.
Special Guests on the night were Katie Walters, Property Services Manager from Bolsover District Council and Mark Stevenson, Head of Media and Communication at Mansfield Town Football Club, who delivered a highly inspirational and enjoyable speech to the audience.
The school would like to thank all the organisations and individuals who gave so generously in sponsoring awards, and for their support in rewarding excellence. Particular mention must go to Alfreton Rotary Club, Mr & Mrs Justin Gilbody, Staff Health Centre and Sarah Kenworthy who presented for the first time the Pete Kenworthy Endeavour Award, in memory of her late husband and former Deputy Headteacher at the school.
The results achieved by The Class of 2022 are a tribute to the hard work our pupils, the support of family and friends and the commitment of the whole staff team here at Tibshelf Community School.
