Barcelona 2026

"Barcelona was amazing. I really liked going into the cathedral to see all the artwork."

- Heidi, Tibshelf Pupil

Barcelona is a stunning and vibrant city in Catalonia – a region in the eastern part of Spain.

Known for its links to Antoni Gaudi, this city is a creative playground. With gothic streets, colourful buildings, unique sculptures, tiled mosaics, and the stunning Sagrada Familia – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, most visitors are staring in awe in a matter of minutes.

For a long bank holiday weekend, Tibshelf students were next in line to enjoy this vibrant hub of culture.

As well as sightseeing, pupils enjoyed a chance to relax, make memories, sample the local food, and practise a bit of Spanish.

With that in mind, we’ll let some of the photos take it from here.
