Sports Day Results 2026
A day of kind weather and kinder community spirit, Sports Day saw Tibshelf Community School students and staff take part in Danish Longball, high jump, and a whole host of track events such as the 100m.
All to the tune of Wonderwall by Oasis – a quick shout out to the World Cup naturally!
Students put in an incredible amount of effort, representing their house and their year. There was a tremendous amount of support on the field, with the school community dressed in their house colours, equipped with homemade banners and signs to cheer on their teams, and even some fancy dress!

After a glorious summery day, and a weekend to double-check the scores, the results are in.

First off, a wondrous well done to Wingfield, Bolsover, Haddon, and Hardwick for victories in their respective year groups.
But overall, Haddon was left in the lead, with Wingfield in second place, and Hardwick taking the bronze.
Staff had nothing but praise for the event. With the sunshine out, drinks and ice creams on sale, everyone was in good spirits as competitions took place throughout the day.
Lastly, all that's left to say is a huge thank you to the staff who organised and supported the event, including the event hosts, medical teams, year teams, and tutors.
