    Teacher of Art and Design

We are at an exciting point in the development of the Technology and Computing Faculty.  The last 5 years have seen dramatic improvements in both the attainment of our pupils and the development of our curriculum.  We now want to move from good to outstanding. 

This flourishing Faculty, with a proven track record, comprises of 7 full time teaching staff expertly supported by our Faculty Achievement Lead and two Technicians.  We have state of the art facilities, with specialist rooms and equipment which allows us to deliver dynamic lessons in a full suite of courses within the Technology and Computing sector.   

In KS3, all students study ICT, DT, Art and Food Technology for one hour a week before choosing more specialist subjects in Year 9.  

In KS4, we offer a wide curriculum of both academic and vocational subjects including GCSEs in Design Technology and Computer Science, BTECs in Media, Art & Design and Construction and Level 2 certificates in Hospitality & Catering and Enterprise & Marketing.    

Applications are sought from candidates who: 

  • are excellent and innovative classroom practitioners able to teach to both KS3 and KS4 students 

  • can demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and raising the achievement and progress of all students 

  • enjoy working in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team 

  • have the vision, imagination, and commitment to add to the strengths of the faculty 

  • can meet the highest standards and to be a role model for our students

Male Teacher of PE

Are you passionate about Physical Education and want to make a real difference to our students? We are looking for someone to join a highly aspirational faculty who is devoted to promoting successful outcomes. Candidates will have the drive and motivation to continually contribute to the department whilst enriching the lives of our students. We are looking for an inclusive teacher, who consistently sets high expectations with an innovative and engaging approach to their teaching, supporting all students and maximising their progress. Ideally, you will have expertise in any of the following areas: - football, rugby and cricket.

Teacher of Science

A Teacher of Science is needed to join us at an exciting point in the school’s development.  The successful candidate will play a vital role, working with the Director of Science, to develop the Science curriculum and maintain the trend of improvement in pupil experience and overall outcomes.  The Science Faculty has an established track record at GCSE and we now want to build on this solid foundation and move forward to provide even greater experiences for our pupils.

The post provides a great opportunity for a talented teacher of Science to advance their own career and professional development by joining a successful, cohesive team in a forward-looking school, recently judged Good by OFSTED, at an exciting time in its development.  This post would be suitable for an Early Career Teacher.

Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant

Job Share
Grade 8, 39 weeks per year
2 x 6.5hr days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
OR
3hr 20mins Monday-Friday mornings or afternoons

We are pleased to offer an exciting job share opportunity for a Specialist Teaching and Learning Assistant in our school. You will need excellent problem-solving skills and you will have a good understanding of support mechanisms and strategies. An understanding of ways in which individual students learn is required to establish a learning programme based on identified individual needs.
